When a friend invites you over to his new summer house, you know that he will be proud of it. And that he might be bragging a little bit.
But eventually, it starts to annoy you. And it becomes all you can think of.
You feel like it might never stop. But you decide to pretend that you’re having fun, not to hurt your friend’s feelings.
And when that final souvenir photograph is coming, all you feel if relief.
But what has really happened here?
These photographs were taken on the G7 Summit in Biarritz, in France. The Group of 7 is an international organisation composed of the largest economies in the world: the US, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, Italy and the UK.These countries represented 58% of the global net wealth in 2018.
G7 leaders met in Biarritz to discuss mostly about trade, but also the environment. A statement was made to assure that something must be done about the fires in the Amazon forest. Also, nuclear weapons in Iran and Russia’s possible readmission to the G8 group were hot topics of this year’s meeting.
